Happy New Year!

Hmm.....

Cant believe that 2007 ended with me being single yet again. When is all this going to end....LOL.

To all the ladies that got married in 2007 I wish you a happy married life and to those of us left behind, Ladies i have a feeling that this will be our year. It has to be......right?

I just had to write that, even though i decided that this year i'm not going to keep lamenting on the fact that i'm still single but instead concentrate on how i can grow in my career.

No more procrastination......i'm the worst kind. More action....

So ladies lets enjoy the time we have left being single and use this time to do all the things we want to do and might never have the chance to do again when we get hitched.

Rain = Traffic

Is it just me or has anyone else out there noticed that rain seems to automatically lead to traffic? I mean is there a sign out there that says: ' Its raining, common lets all drive like maniacs' ?

I live in a relatively busy city in Nigeria where traffic is controlled most of the time, except for days when its raining and then its complete chaos.

I mean where is everyone rushing to?

Surely they must realise that the rain is just water not acid and will not get through the roofs of their cars, nor are they made of salt and will melt?

I don't know what folktales they all must have been told as kids, cos they all seem to have the same incontrollable urge to flee once the rain starts, regardless of if there are in their cars or not.

Sure no one likes to get cold and wet, but people if you are already in your cars when the rain starts, its highly unlikely that you'll get wet, besides a little rain never hurt anyone.
